In short
Every code on Trovemont comes from the store it belongs to, given to us by the store or through its affiliate program. We show each code exactly as we received it, and only when we know its discount. We never copy codes from other coupon sites and never invent a discount. "Verified on" gives the date of the latest automated check, which re-read the offer's code and discount; it does not mean that anyone tried the code at the store's checkout. Each code follows the store's own terms, and the store can end it at any time, so we cannot guarantee that it will work. If a code fails, tell us: we will check it against the store and correct our page.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains where the coupon codes and deals on Trovemont come from, what the labels next to them mean, and what to do when one does not work. It applies to every offer on the site, wherever it appears: in store guides, on the Deals page, on the home page, in store and category listings and in search.
Trovemont is published by Star Dream LLC, which answers for every offer shown on the site. How we are paid when you use an offer is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. Our Terms of Use also apply.
2. Where our codes and deals come from
Codes come from the stores. Every code on Trovemont was given to Trovemont by the store it belongs to, directly or through the store's affiliate program. We do not copy codes from other coupon sites, we do not use third-party coupon feeds, and we do not publish codes sent in by readers.
We publish the code as given. A code appears on the page as plain text, exactly as the store gave it, including upper and lower case, so you can read it, copy it or type it yourself.
We show a code only with its discount. We show a code only when the store or its affiliate program has stated its discount. A code whose discount we do not know is not shown.
We never invent a discount. When an amount, a minimum spend or an end date appears with an offer, it comes from the store or its affiliate program. When an offer's description gives a date, such as "Discount as read on" a date, it is the date we read that discount. When we do not have a piece of information, we do not make it up.
Deals. A deal is a discount the store runs that needs no code.
One store, one page. Each store has a single guide on Trovemont. It lists the store's live offers and, separately, those that have not started yet and those that have ended.
3. The kinds of offer
| On the card | What it is | Button |
|---|---|---|
| Coupon code | A code to enter at the store's checkout, with its discount. | Get code |
| Store deal | A discount the store runs that needs no code. The card says "No code needed." | Get deal |
| Store link | No discount: a link to the store's official site. The card says "Explore the official store." | Visit, followed by the store's name |
Every button takes you to the store through a paid link, as explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. "Get code" first copies the code, then takes you to the store.
4. What the labels on an offer mean
4.1 Verification
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verified on date | The date of the latest automated check of this offer (section 9). On that date, the check re-read the offer's code and discount, as the store or its affiliate program states them, and recorded the result. It does not mean that anyone entered the code at the store's checkout. On the home page's rotating ticket, the same label reads "Verified" and the date. |
| Not yet verified | No check of this offer has been recorded yet. The offer comes from the store, but we have not checked it. |
| No label | To keep lists readable, offer cards in lists and grids leave out "Not yet verified". An offer card with no verification label has not been checked. |
| Verification pending | The offer has just been added, and its first check has not happened yet. |
| Verification out of date | The offer passed a check in the past, but that check is too old to rely on. |
| Last check failed | Our most recent check of this offer did not succeed. The code may no longer work. |
| Marked verified, Check offer terms | The short forms used in search results. "Marked verified" stands for an offer that shows "Verified on" a date on its store's guide. "Check offer terms" stands for any other offer. |
Three rules apply to every label. We never show a date for a check that did not happen. No software fills in today's date by default: the date shown is the date stored with the check. And a check speaks only for its own date: a code that was confirmed yesterday can stop working today.
4.2 Start and end dates
- Starts on date. The store has scheduled the offer, and it is not active yet. On the store's guide, it is listed under "Starting soon".
- Ends today, Ends tomorrow, Ends in number days. Shown when we have an end date within the next 30 days.
- No end date. When we have no end date, there is no countdown. We never show a "hurry" message or a stock count we do not have.
- Expired. The offer has ended, and its discount no longer applies. An expired offer can stay on the store's guide, in a separate "Past offers" list, so you can see that a code you used before is over. Its button still takes you to the store through a paid link. The Deals page lists live offers only.
The store's own systems decide the exact moment an offer starts or ends.
4.3 Exclusive
"Exclusive" means that the store or its affiliate program gave this code to Trovemont to publish. It does not mean that the discount is larger than other offers the store runs, or that no one else has a similar code or a similar discount.
5. Prices and savings
A discount shown with an offer is the discount the store or its affiliate program stated. It is not a saving we calculate or promise. What you save depends on the store's prices and conditions at checkout.
Prices in our guides are the prices the store displayed on the date we read them. A crossed-out or "compare at" price is the store's own figure, and we do not check whether the store sold the product at that price. When a guide names the lowest price in a store's catalog, it compares only that store's listed prices, on the date given, not the prices of other stores. Our Disclaimer says more about prices.
6. The store's terms apply
Every code and deal belongs to its store, and the store sets its terms. An offer may, for example, be limited to a first order or to new customers, require a minimum spend, exclude some products or collections, allow one use per customer, apply only in some countries or states, or run only between certain dates. The store can change, pause or end an offer at any time, without notice to us or to you.
When a store has given us its conditions, we show them under "Terms and conditions" on the offer. What the store shows at checkout controls.
Trovemont is not the seller. We do not take payments and never see your payment details. Orders, shipping, returns, refunds and customer service are between you and the store, under the store's own policies. Our Purchases & Refunds page says more.
7. No guarantee
We cannot guarantee that a code will be accepted, that a deal is still running, or that a price or condition at the store still matches what a page on Trovemont says. A code can fail because the store ended it, because your order does not meet its conditions, because of where you are, or because of a problem on the store's side. Only the store decides whether to honor an offer. What we can do is correct our page when you tell us (section 8). The provisions of our Terms of Use on offers and codes, warranties and liability apply, and so does our Disclaimer.
8. Reporting a code that does not work
Please tell us. It is the fastest way to get a wrong label fixed.
- Where: write to contact@trovemont.com, or use our contact page and choose "A brand or an offer".
- What to include: the store, the code, the page where you found it, the date you tried it and, if you have it, the exact message the store showed at checkout. A screenshot helps. Never send card numbers or other payment details.
What happens next. We acknowledge your report within 10 business days and answer within 30 days. We check your report against the store's own pages and, where we can, with the store or its affiliate program. If our page is wrong, we correct the offer: its label, its conditions or its status. We use your email address only to reply to you. It is not added to any list, and we do not pass your name or email address to the store without your permission.
9. Daily check
Every day, an automated check re-reads the code and discount of each store, and any change it records appears on this site by itself, with the date of the latest check shown as "Verified on".
This daily check does not enter codes at a store's checkout, so it does not prove that a code will be accepted for your order.
10. Requests from stores
If you represent a store on Trovemont and one of your codes, dates or conditions is wrong, write to us. We correct an offer when the store's own pages or its affiliate program support the change, the same check we apply to every correction. If a store ends a code or asks us to stop showing it, we remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we source, label or check offers changes, and we change the date at the top when we do.
12. Contact
Questions about a code or an offer: write to contact@trovemont.com or use our contact page.
